Solid copper is the only metal with strong antimicrobial properties. It is a helpful defence against different bacteria, viruses - such as covid-19 and fungus.

The scientific community agrees on this statement -and several studies support it.

Therefore the use of copper-made components is highly recommended for products which will be touched with hands such as handles, pull handles, knobs and similar products.

This recommendation is specially convenient for public facilities, such as hospitals, schools or shopping malls, specially in bathrooms and/or hygiene areas.

Copper ages in time and may vary its colour, but still does not loose its antimicrobial properties - however this does not exempt from cleaning on a regular basis.
